The cub scout moto is "Do Your Best." We encourage boys to strive to push themselves to do THEIR personal best and cub scouting has many opportunities to find new areas of interest. One great way to help build confidence is in the awards that boys can earn by learning new skills, helping others, and learning about their country, faith, and community.
- Each year of cub scouting has a rank. Set accomplishments and experiences are tied into each rank and most of the base activities are centered around these core experiences. The ranks are...Bobcat (Earned first by any new scout regardless of age/rank)
- Tiger (1st grade)
- Wolf (2nd grade)
- Bear (3rd grade)
- Webeloes I (4th grade)
- Webloes II (5th grade)
In addition, boys can earn activity belt loops and pins for sports and academics, awards as a pack/den, and many other specialty awards for service, learning more about their faith, patriotism, and more.
